Popis: | Organization of efficient computations in homogeneous computing structures requires structural and functional fit between the algorithm and the realizing device. This fit is generally ensured by appropriately choosing the cell functions and interconnections, which constitutes the synthesis problem of homogeneous structures. In the article, the authors solve the corresponding problem for the class of MIMD (multiple instructions, multiple data) systems. The proposed synthesis procedure is based on microprogramming representation of algorithms, which is interpretable by an automaton network. The notion of microprogramming extended to organization of computations in large assemblies of small computers constitutes the so-called parallel microprogramming. 14 references. |
