Popis: This article describes the configuration of an air intake and entrapment valve for protection of cooling system piping in the main condensers of turbines from possible hydraulic shock during automatic operation and for removing air from the system during regular filling by circulation pumps. Tests of the valve confirm its efficiency and functionality.
