Popis: This paper describes a regulation structure for the BUCK converter without galvanic isolation. The feedforward control structure with an adaptive feedback loop improves the dynamic properties of the entire inverter. It also ensures higher resistance of the regulation structure against changes of the input variable. The control structure has been designed for traction converters that are supplied with voltage from the traction dc bus which is characterized by significant rises and falls. It may occur especially during transient events, for instance, locomotive’s drift in pull or when the locomotive changes its mode from a drive to a brake mode and vice-versa.However, this theory and principles of the regulation structure can be used also in other types of DC/DC converters. What is more, it is possible to use it also for DC/DC converters with galvanic isolation after adaptation for the particular application.
