Popis: | 13 C spinlattice relaxation times, T 1 , for the α-carbon nuclei of poly(γ-benzyl-L-glutamate) fractions in deuterated DMF are shown to be governed by the diffusion coefficient for rotation about the helix axis, leading to an approximately linear dependence of T 1 on molecular weight. The α- 13 C spinspin relaxation times, T 2 , which decrease with increase in molecular weight, are found to be influenced by both the axial and end-over-end rotational diffusion coefficients. |
