Popis:	Extranodal lymphoma of the oral cavity is relatively rare. It is often difficult to distinguish from inflammatory changes. A case of non-Hodgkin's malignant lymphoma of the mucolabial fold of the maxilla arising in a 36-year-old woman in whom the disease was definitively diagnosed on the basis of rearrangement of the immunoglobulin gene is reported. Routine pathological examination and immunohistochemical studies of the lesion could not prove malignant lymphoma. Additional examinations with Southern-blot disclosed clonality of B-cells. The patient received combination chemotherapy with CHOP and radiotherapy. There has been no evidence of recurrence of the lesion as of 10 months after the first visit.
