Popis: | We treated three cases of septic arthritis of the knee with loss of articular cartilage in medial compartment of the femoro-tibial joint. One case underwent arthrodesis due to bone loss from medial tibial plateau and unstabl knee.Other two cases had synovectomy, debridement, closed irrigation-suction treatment. They had flexion of 100 degrees or more and no recurrence.Synovectomy, debridement, closed irrigation-suction treatment is effective for septic arthritis of the knee with stability and intact articular cartilage in one compartment even if articular cartilage in another compartment is defected. |
