Popis: | Past work has proven that network coding has great potential to improve network throughput in wireless networks. However, coding-aware routing protocols have weakness regarding delivery of time-sensitive data in lossy links. Nevertheless, the improvement from network coding is negligible when using realtime data delivery. We propose coding-aware real-time routing called CARTR that schedules coded and uncoded data in a link. We implement CARTR over IEEE 802.11 and our experimental studies reveal that CARTR improves throughput by 20%. |
