Popis: | Isolated brainstem neurocysticercosis is considered to be rare. Majority of these occur in adults. Presentations are with focal deficits such as isolated cranial nerve palsies, gaze paralysis or crossed hemiparesis. NCC in the medulla is distinctly rare. The present case relates to a toddler presenting as an ipsilateral hemiplegia without cranial involvement due to a medullary NCC. |
