Popis:	This paper gives a survey of the present status and developments of data acquisition systems for chromatographic laboratories. The basic concepts of the systems used at present and their limitations depending on the application, are shown. For the selection of a particular system a careful evaluation with respect to the specific requirements of a laboratory is required. The recent development of small but powerful units offers the necessary flexibility.
