Hemodynamics of a stenosed cerebral artery is discussed in this work. An unsteady, unstructured 2D solver is developed and used for the simulations. Flow is solved for physiologically realistic inlet flow waveform. Investigative focus is on the vortex dynamics and effect of Fourier modes of the waveform. Level and features of vortex structures are studied and compared. Most important Fourier mode for reproducing the flow structures is discussed, and differences are analysed. |
