Popis:	The purpose of this investigation is focused on the welding process simulation using the SYSWELD software. It has been used to conduct the simulation of the tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding process. 316L stainless steel (316L SS) is welded with a low alloy steel (A508) using the Inconel filler 82 (IN-82). Welding experiments are carried out in order to compare with simulation results. Profile of the welding pool, residual thermal stress and deformation of the weld have been studied, and accuracy of the simulated results is also evaluated.
