Popis: | Application of plasma onto the nail surface using a specifically designed prototype facilitates the longer-lasting nail varnish claimed in advertisements by many conventional nail varnish producers. This new, functional prototype is user-friendly and inexpensive; it is also portable because it is battery powered. The purpose of this article is to explore using surface analysis methods the modifications on finger nails that plasma induces. Furthermore, this article delves into improvements that plasma treatment has for adhesion and drying times of nail varnishes. |
