Anomalous change of surplus entropy in the overcritical region of MAPCB-MAPBB system

Popis: | A specific heat study of MAPCB(1−X)MAPBBX mixed crystals was performed in the range of temperatures 100–340 K. The results indicate that the overcritical-type anomaly at about 160 K in pure MAPCB crystals has the tendency to smear and finally to disappear as x increases. The temperature dependence of the spontaneous polarisation was obtained from the specific heat data and compared with direct measurements. The compositional dependence of the surplus entropy reveals that the thermodynamic path is moving away from the critical point with the increase of bromine concentration. |
