Popis: | Based on the photoisomerization of a water soluble merocyanine, the isothermal light-directed movement of water droplets in organic media has been achieved, which allows controlled chemical transport and site-directed chemistry. The application of this new photoactive delivery system was demonstrated by effecting a chemical reaction as a result of merging two reactive droplets. |
