Склеротерапія під контролем ультразвукового дослідження в лікуванні венозних мальформацій обличчя

| Popis: | Objective. Investigation of modern possibilities of application of ultrasonographically guided transcutaneous sclerotherapy in treatment of venous malformations of the face. Маterials and methods. Examination and treatment, using sclerotherapy method, was conducted in Department of Microvascular and Plastic Surgery through 2016 – 2017 yrs in 12 patients, suffering venous malformations. There were 7 women and 5 men. In 5 patients the malformations were localized on the face in the region of cheek (m.masseter), in 5 – in region of upper or lower lip, and in 2 – in the region of lower third of the face and the neck. Results. In 4 patients complete sclerosing of the malformation was observed, in 3 – sclerosing of more than a half of the malformation diameter through 3 – 6 weeks of follow–up, and in 5 – sclerosing lesser than half of the malformation diameter through 3 – 12 weeks. Conclusion. Sclerotherapy under control of ultrasonographic investigation constitutes effective and secure method of treatment of venous malformation of the face. |
