Popis:	A diploid chromosome number of 20 was determined from mitotic and meiotic cells from female pupae. The karyotype is comprised of a graded series of 5 pairs of metacentrics, 3 pairs of slightly smaller submetacentrics, and 2 pairs of smaller acrocentric chromosomes. The known karyotype variation within the Cynipidae is discussed.
