Popis:	Age and overload of the Schnitzer Steel's timber seawall on the Hylebos Waterway in Tacoma, Washington necessitated the Schnitzer management to look to design build construction procurement for a new seawall and a 122 meter marginal wharf. The paper describes the design build process as well as the design features of the wharf and seawall, and construction experience.
