Popis: | The motion control of guide rolls, which is difficult in the simulation of profiled ring rolling processes, is crucial to the process stability and circularity of rolled ring. To control the guide rolls’ motion during the intelligent simulation of profiled ring rolling process, a new mathematical model is established. The mathematical model is implemented into a reliable 3D-FE model of a profiled 2219 aluminum alloy ring to validate its reliability. The simulation results reveal it enables the guide rolls to move following the ring’s growth during the profiled ring rolling process, improving the process stability and quality of profiled ring. |
