Popis: | We describe here a novel platform for hand rehabilitation through exer-games. It is based on a mobile device on which the game is run combined with a modular adaptive architecture that senses fingers pressure and communicates with the mobile device in real-time. Exer-games designed to increase fingers mobility are plaid with the device touch-screen display. Fingers force is trained through exer-games whose input is the pressure exerted by the patient on an adequate object. The object hides a modular micro-architecture that samples pressure and transmit it in real-time, through wireless connection, to the device. Preliminary usability results from thirteen children and their parents are reported. |
