SYNOPSIS Tebuthiuron applied as 2 g of Graslan 20P pellets (20% a.i.) or two pills of Graslan 250 Brush Bullets (25% a.i.) was effective for the control of 2 m-tall shrubs of rock hakea, Hakea gibbosa. One meter tall plants were satisfactory controlled at half these rates. By applying the herbicide by hand at the base of individual plants, it only showed a slight effect on the native vegetation.
