Popis: | This chapter provides a comprehensive description of the system of testing rubber compounds, starting from sampling and testing vessels up to evaluation of test results according to specific standards. The chapter is divided into parts as follows: cold temperature degradation, UV degradation, ozone degradation, fluid resistance. In this chapter we report the testing of elastomeric compounds in laboratory conditions. The chapter describes preparation of samples for the tests, simple or more complex measurements, based on international and national testing methodology. The chapter also deals with a classification of tests in terms of physical behavior in extreme environments. |
