Plasmon dispersion in 2D electron systems at finite temperature

Popis: We have studied the charge-density oscillations (plasmons) of a two-dimensional electron gas within the framework of finite temperature and frequency independent (static) version of Singwi, Tosi, Land and Sjolander approximation. We have shown that even at high densities the finite temperature and layer thickness have non-negligible impact on plasma dispersion of the two-dimensional electron system.
