These indigenous folk art forms have been elevated to the hallowed halls of academia. 'Ihe University of the West Indies has set up Media and Creative Arts Centres for Uie promotion of cultural research and publication. The librarians' pleasant task now is to systematically acquire and catalogue such materials in various formats for easier access to the researcher. |
