Popis:	This chapter describes the implementation of ISO 14001 at New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA)’s department of Capital Program Management (CPM). CPM designs and manages the construction of some $2 billion in capital projects per annum. The challenge of implementing ISO 14001 was to implement a system designed for a fixed manufacturing facility in a project-based organization where most of the work is delivered by contractors.
