Popis:	A mechanistic model is described that calculates the daily increases in plant mass and the changes in plant potassium content, soil exchangeable-K, fixed-K and K activity ratio for arable crops grown with different levels of K fertilizer. The inputs needed for the model are readily available and good agreement was obtained between measured and simulated values.
