The pressure distribution over the area of the brake pad is measured under dynamic conditions. This allows you to build a graph of the motion of the center of pressure depending on the pressure in the brake system and the speed of rotation of the brake disc. For uniform pressure distribution, it is necessary to propose a new model of the friction unit of the brake mechanism. Using the finite element method, the proposed model was loaded by pressing the pad against the disk, and the pressure distribution was compared with experimental studies of serial friction units. |
