Popis:	It is argued that the tungsten and molybdenum ores of the Caucasus region are probably associated with local granites. It is demonstrated, however, that Cenozoic tungsten and molybdenum ores are negligible, if they are present in the region at all. This conclusion is supported by argument from tectonic, stratigraphic, and absolute age evidence. --M. E. Burgunker.
