Popis:	The electrically powered indoor/outdoor chair (EPIOC) and voucher-scheme initiatives for wheelchairs were introduced in 1996. York Health Economics Consortium recently reviewed them for the NHS Executive. The EPIOC scheme was found to have successfully met its objectives, although significant unmet demand remains. The voucher scheme, however, had a more varied reception.
