Popis: | Rate constants have been determined for electron phototransfer reactions in ethanol solutions of the following associated (bonded) systems: zinc porphyrin-viologen, and zinc porphyrin-viologen-quinone. In the case of the zinc porphyrin-viologen-quinone triad, intramolecular electron transfer results in the appearance of a long-lived ion-radical state with a lifetime of ∿10 msec and a quantum yield of ca. 0.15. |
