Popis:	The coronavirus disease 2019 crisis has caused a sharp rise in demand for ventilators and respiratory therapists (RTs) who are trained to operate them. Shortages of these resources in hospitals have put patients who need them at increased risk. In this Perspective, researchers describe a model they developed to help assess needs and to allocate ventilators and RTs efficiently among hospitals in order to minimize patient wait time.
