Popis: | In order to cut down the power consumption of LCD backlight and maintain the image quality,a modulation algorithm based on Local Mean(LM) and Local Standard Deviation(LSD) is proposed.The algorithm can dim the luminance of backlight effectively in dark and low contrast blocks and maintain the image quality in the bright and high contrast blocks.Meanwhile,backlight signals are smoothed to ensure smooth transition between each region and its surrounding regions,which makes images downy on the vision. |
