Popis: | The number of diseases requiring continuous neurological monitoring of the main parameters of the craniospinal system increases year on year. Retrospective analysis of results from monitoring intracranial pressure supported the development of an original technology for evaluating the magnitude and dynamics of craniospinal compliance in pathology of cerebrospinal fluid circulation, including a means for quantitative assessment of craniospinal compliance from the amplitude of pulsatile oscillations in intracranial pressure and instrumented implementation of the method in the form of a technically perfected medical device, i.e., the Neurocom craniospinal compliance monitor, as well as a means of applying the technology to different purposes in neurosurgery and neuroresuscitation. |
