Popis: | 1. A method was proposed for producing (C5H5)2TiCl2 from TiCl4 and solid C5H5Na, suspended in an inert solvent, and conditions were found under which this reaction can be directed toward the formation of C5H5TiCl3. 2. The reaction of TiCl4 with solid C5H5Na, in contrast to the reaction with C5H5Na in solution, proceeds under conditions promoting intermediate formation of cyclopentadienyl compounds of titanium, containing more than two cyclopentadienyl groups in the molecule. |
