The mock-ups of cryosorption panels for the ITER vacuum pumps were investigated pre- and post-exposure to tritium and the results obtained are presented. It was shown that upon the regeneration of mock-ups, a part of the tritium may remain in a sorption layer. Thermal cycling of the panel mock-ups does not change the microstructure of the sorption layer, but does reduce the microhardness in some of its components. |
