Calculation Method for Electric Circuits with Saturated Magnetic Core Induction Coil

Popis: The article offers automated technique for calculating the electric circuits with saturated magnetic-core induction coil. Approximation of magnetization curve by means of the hyperbolic sine function is critical for this technique. Such representation allows executing both numerical calculations through the finite-difference method, and analytical calculations through the harmonic balance method. The latter is slightly inferior to numerical calculations in terms of accuracy, but is more visual. The technique allows applying software packages which significantly simplify the calculation procedures without reducing the visibility and physical essence. The article suggests the algorithm for applying the specified technique aimed at optimizing the parameters of electromagnetic devices with saturated magnetic-core induction coil. The technique application scope covers calculation of single-phase transformer, electromagnetic relay, ferroresonant AC voltage stabilizer, smoothing inductive filter, etc.
