Popis: The author considers the development of the personality as the multidimensional process defined by a complex combination of internal and external conditions and inseparable from the course of life, social context of activity and the system of relations the personality is included in. Personal development is characterized by difficult dialectics of continuity and discontinuity, as well as the rise of randomness. At every stage of education the deepening of ideas of pupils about the value of education, self-education and the essence of educational activity influencing personal development is required. Thus pupils have to realize that development of the personality is possible only at their own activity in the course of training. The appeal to subjective characteristics of the teacher is predetermined by the fact that the teacher acts as one of significant factors of development of the personality in training.
