The article deals with the main problems and directions of improvement of staffing of the health care system on the basis of sustainable development. It is proved that the labor potential of the health sector is one of the factors for the achievement of sustainable development. Health efficiency is one of the constituents of sustainable development – sustainable social development, and indirectly – and sustainable economic and environmental development. The problems of quantitative and qualitative nature of the labor potential of the health care sector of Ukraine are considered. The overall quantitative characterization of personnel of health care institutions is carried out, the distribution of doctors in separate specialties is analyzed. The problem of «brain drain» in the sphere of health protection was investigated. The cross-sectoral and international competition for highly skilled specialists, which occurs primarily at the level of wages, was characterized,. Thus, trends in the change in the average monthly wage by types of economic activity are highlighted. It is proved that from the standpoint of the problems of sustainable development, unresolved problems of the labor potential of the healthcare sector threaten the possibility of further socio-economic development of the country, achievement of high social standards, full integration into the European community. It was established that the primary task is to restrain the migration of medical personnel, improve social security, pay and establish effective communications in the system of state-bodies of local self-government-drug community. |
