Popis: | An electron-donor and various electron-acceptor (EA) phases were evaluated for the separation of thirteen tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin isomers in both the reversed- and normal-phase modes. It was shown that the selectivity on EA phases can be enhanced to a great extent in the normal-phase mode compared with the selectivity with polar mobile phases. Separation studies showed that the retention mechanism exhibited with non-polar mobile phases is partially masked by solvophobic effects when the same columns are used in the reversed-phase mode. |
