Popis: | Field experiments were conducted at Coimbatore, India, to evaluate the impact of cultural practices, irrigation and post-harvest trash burning on spider abundance in sugarcane fields. Exclusion of selected cultural practices; manual weed control, earthing-up and three detrashing operations significantly (p 0.05) the number of millable canes per 6 m row, internode number and cane length, while single cane weight and cane girth were affected significantly (p < 0.05).
