The rectenna, in general, is composed of two parts: an antenna for the reception of the radio frequency (RF) signals, and a circuit for the conversion of RF energy into DC voltage using an impedance matching circuit and a voltage multiplier. In this work, a dielectric resonator antenna is proposed, then a comparison of various voltage multipliers found in the literature is presented. Finally, the results of the considered circuits are analyzed in order to measure the output voltage and to make a quantitative comparison. Two simulation software are used; CST for antenna part and ADS for the co-simulation. |
