Popis:	The complexations of the 13-group metals (Ga III , In III and Tl III ) with 7-[(2-hydroxy-5-chlorophenyl)azo]-8-hydroquinoline-5-sulfonate(hpaq) were studied. In Ga III -complexation, hpaq coordinates to Ga III to form a yellow complex through a fast process and then this yellow complex slowly changes to a red complex. The rate constant of the slow process is independent of the experimental Ga III concentration, indicating the presence of a linkage isomerism. In the cases of In III - and Tl III -concentrations, no linkage isomerism was observed.
