Popis: | Recent discussions have shown how the geometric stiffness matrix of nonlinear structural analysis can be derived by taking the gradient of the equilibrium equations. Here this technique is used to derive an unsymmetric geometric stiffness matrix for a membrane finite element (triangular, constant stress/strain). Two examples of a loaded prestressed sheet are included. |
