| Popis: | Purpose: Infiltrating head and neck malignancies and their treatment with surgical resection, neck dissection, free flap reconstructions and chemoradiation may be associated with vascular complications. Iatrogenic surgical or radiation injury resulting in carotid artery pseudoaneurysms are infrequent complications with an estimated incidence of 0.3–0.6%. The technical difficulty and morbidity associated with surgical treatment of these pseudoaneurysms in a hostile surgical or radiated neck makes an endovascular approach an attractive alternative.
