Popis:	The 239 Pu to 293 U processing factor was determined on the BR-1 experimental fast reactor with a 239 Pu core and a 239 Th shield. The breeding characteristics of thorium; the fission neutron utilization factor ( D ) and the neutron multiplication factor ( k ∞ ), were also studied.
