Popis: Motivation of engineers in the construction industry is the subject of many researches, due to the effect of lack of motivation on the work delays, and the tendency to not remain in one company longer than few years. This paper investigates what motivation factors are significant for engineers in construction Industry in Bosnia and Hercegovina. Quantitative research methods based on a sample of 252 engineers filling the Multidimensional Work Motivation Scale (MWMS) were used. Results are analysed using IBM SPSS Statistics 21 and IBM SPSS Amos 22. Selected target population included different profiles of Engineers regarding the age, gender, family status, level of education, professional experience, residential status, and bank credit status. Results proved that identified regulations has significant impact on the motivation of engineers with higher level of education. This paper found also that external regulations are significantly affecting the motivation of engineers with unsolved residential status. Lastly, results showed that number of family members has significant impact on the introjected and identified regulations. This paper concluded that new motivation model that will include dynamic following of engineers working in B&H construction industry regarding their private, financial, and professional development should be developed and used in order to ensure higher level of job satisfaction of engineers and increase the willingness to remain longer at their workplaces.
