Popis:	Kinetic data are given on aconitase (EC 4.2.1.3.) of a strain of Saccharomycopsis lipolytica excreting citric acid. Various inhibitors were tested in vitro. Sigmoid inhibition curves (Hill coefficient = 4~6) were observed with maieic and adipic acids. The effect of the inhibitors on excretion is discussed.
