The subject of the graduate qualification work is âThe research of the dependence of the tracking loops performance accuracy in GNSS signal receivers on the choice of the discriminatorâ. The given work is devoted to the evaluation of code and carrier tracking loops performance depending on the choice of delay lock loop, frequency lock loop and phase lock loop discriminator. The purpose of the work is to reduce computational load of GPS tracking systems (discriminators in particular) by choosing discriminator algorithms with a least computational load. In this work the correlator imitator model has been used, with this model tracking loops performance have been analyzed using different discriminators and different receiver dynamics (walk, run, bicycle acceleration and car brake) as well as estimation metrics have been defined. Simulation is carried out and these estimation parameters versus the signal-to-noise ratio graphs are constructed. A comparison of performance errors was made and conclusions about the possibility of reducing the discriminators computational complexity are presented. |
