Popis:	The title compound, [Ni(C 5 H 10 NS 2 )(C 28 H 28 P 2 )]ClO 4 , is planar. The pairs of Ni-S [2.2089 (8) and 2.2075 (8) A] and Ni-P [2.1945(7) and 2.1932 (8) A] bond lengths are respectively equal, and the P-Ni-P angle [95.12 (3)°] is large as a consequence of the flexible butyl chain between the two P atoms. The butyl chain lies on one side of the planar NiS2P2 chromophore and two of the phenyl rings are arranged laterally above the plane.
