Popis: | Historiography of the Cossacks is considered from the point of view of identifying the main stages, the characteristics of which were determined actualization Cossack up policy of the state in relation to the phenomenon of socio-political life of the Russian society. It is therefore proposed to consider three main stages of the study Cossacks: 1. the late 1980s to mid – 1990s, 2. the mid – 1990s to mid – 2000s, 3. the mid – 2000s, our time. To the present time in the historiography of modern Cossacks formed such directions: study of the regional aspects of state formation Cossacks and the formation of the legal framework of its development; identifying the main stages of the renewal of the Cossack communities in different regions in terms of political and social processes that occur in the country; the study of various aspects of traditional culture; analysis of institutional and political problems of integration into society; the definition of the role and place of the Cossack communities in the local government system. |
