Popis: The difficulty of storing it can be indicated as a disadvantage, as this leads to the need for the continuous operation of the sources of generation, and as a result, creates difficulties in promoting renewable energy sources. The paper examines the operating modes of the circuit with distributed and concentrated parameters in order to detect the possibility and the capacity of realizing the processes of electricity storage in functional components of the power systems. For this purpose for the analysis of the dynamic processes, that use analytical and numerical methods of calculating the electrical circuits without dissipation (reversible transformations) and with dissipation (irreversible transformations) of the electrical energy in these circuits. Analytical solutions are presented for lossless power lines and for the lines with loss without signal deformation. The use of the finite difference method allows the analysis of the regime for any type of line and electrical load. It has been found, that the processes of energy accumulation in the circuit elements can be performed both from the power supply from DC and from AC sources. Energy storage can be achieved in the long line in short-circuit and in idle mode. It has been demonstrated the possibility of storing energy in the external inductance under traveling of the current wave in the circuites with distributed parameters, that link the power supply with the inductance in which the energy is stored. The process of storing energy in the external inductance can be done without the use of a special system of switches, which are part of the traditional systems of storage with superconducting inductance. The development of injection technology in inductance with superconductivity in traveling wave regime can provide advantages, when energy storage systems are developed with superconducting inductance.
